A day rarely passes at Rocketts Landing where someone isn't taking advantage of our community's instant access to the James River. From paddling to rowing to fishing -- and even enjoying a romantic cuddle (or wedding!) at our community's overlook -- residents and visitors enjoying the river is as ubiquitous as people socializing at Rocketts Landing restaurants. So, you better believe that when a contest comes along to honor those who work hard keeping our river clean and accessible, we're all...
If we could count the number of times we've sipped on a tasty glass of wine at M Bistro & Wine Bar in Rocketts Landing and thought, Man, some live jazz would be great right now! we probably would have quite a few empty glasses surrounding us. (Okay, let's be honest. We'd have quite a few bottles, but with their awesome selection, can you blame us?) So, you can only imagine our giddy excitement when M Bistro announced their new, upcoming weekly event: Tuesday Night Jazz.
Okay, we admit it: Nothing makes us all gushy inside like hearing about Rocketts Landing residents doing great things for the community. (What can we say, we're softies over here!) And the Holiday Toy Drive our residents' Social Committee sponsored during the 2011 holiday season is certainly hitting our "softie" hearts.
As many of our guests know, having a good time at Rocketts Landing frequently involves enjoying one of our community's three destination restaurants. This weekend is proving to be no different, as The Boathouse opens their doors for their second annual wine dinner. Featuring a Spanish-themed six-course dinner, we're sure you'll be wined and dined into believing you've landed in Europe for the night.
Get ready James River boaters -- if you enjoy perusing Rocketts Landing after being out on the water but don't live in our community, then our new boat slips are just for you. We are currently hard at work expanding our marina to accommodate transient boaters, so you can more easily stop, dock and play at Rocketts Landing.
As we've frequently shared, Rocketts Landing residents are one active bunch -- and they thoroughly enjoy each other's company. From running marathons together to celebrating the holidays, our residents make a point to get out and enjoy life. And from the way they closed out 2011 with their Social Committee events, they certainly didn't miss out on any holiday giving and fun.
As our residents know, Rocketts Landing's view of the James River and downtown skyline is a sight to be seen -- and taking in our community's backdrop is certainly common around here. So, we were hardly surprised when we heard two engaged 210 Rock residents, Sheree Shaw and Scott Greenfield, decided to have a Rocketts Landing--themed wedding this past weekend!
As many Rocketts Landing residents and visitors know, active lifestyles abound in our community. In fact, you could say we're turning into a bit of an outdoors playground for Richmonders, thanks in large part to our connection to the James River and commitment to having a good time! From hosting regattas to bike races and more, we stay busy with an array of events focused on fun, fitness and the great outdoors. So, in the spirit of the New Year, we thought we'd highlight the breadth of events...
The holiday season is in full swing here at Rocketts Landing, and though the Parade of Lights boat show was canceled due to river conditions (we were definitely bummed!), we're certainly not finished celebrating -- and neither are Rocketts Landing restaurants. From Christmas Eve to New Year's day, our restaurants are ready to serve up some festive holiday meals for you and your loved ones. Whether you enjoy island cuisine or French inspirations, we're certain you and your loved ones will find...
Do you enjoy the quaint rowhouses in The Fan and Church Hill neighborhoods of Richmond but desire close proximity to the James River and a maintenance-free lifestyle? Then Rocketts Landing's luxury townhomes are the place for you.
