M Bistro & Wine Bar at Rocketts Landing Starts Tuesday Jazz Nights

If we could count the number of times we've sipped on a tasty glass of wine at M Bistro & Wine Bar in Rocketts Landing and thought, Man, some live jazz would be great right now! we probably would have quite a few empty glasses surrounding us. (Okay, let's be honest. We'd have quite a few bottles, but with their awesome selection, can you blame us?) So, you can only imagine our giddy excitement when M Bistro announced their new, upcoming weekly event: Tuesday Night Jazz.
Starting February 14, M Bistro & Wine Bar will feature live jazz from some of region's top talent -- with delicious drink specials to boot: $5 specialty martinis. And while the jazz nights are new to M Bistro, Owner and Chef Michael Hall has been marinating the idea since opening the restaurant at Rocketts Landing last year.
“Michael has always had the vision for live music at the restaurant and now that we’re here in 2012, he’s ready to move forward,” says Angela Davis, M Bistro Sales Director.
For the music, Michael is pursuing a collective jazz experience and plans to feature musicians spanning nearly every genre, from standards to smooth jazz. And in keeping with jazz’s improvisational roots, they’re purposefully not creating predictable set lists or repeating themes. “Each Tuesday night will have its own flair,” Angela explains.
So, mark your calendars and start channeling your inner Ella or Miles. We have a feeling your Tuesday nights at Rocketts Landing are about to get a whole lot smoother.
