Get ready, Richmond -- Rocketts Landing is adding a new restaurant to our riverfront community, and we couldn't be more excited for the dining to begin! Described by owner Michael Hall as "Southern comfort food with a French flair," M Bistro & Wine Bar will be part restaurant/part retail shop and all deliciousness, adding a French cafe twist to our growing selection of destination restaurants.

Gas prices getting you down? You can enjoy freedom from the pump by participating in Richmond's National Bike to Work Day this Friday, May 20, at Rocketts Landing. An annual event held across the country, National Bike to Work Day promotes commuting to work on a bicycle as a healthy and safe alternative to driving. As avid supporters of Richmond's growing cycling community, we're excited to take part in the celebration.

Summer's only a month away and with warmer days upon us, many Rocketts Landing residents are preparing to hit the river through The Mariners Club. As Richmond's only exclusive downtown boating community, the club offers members the ability to enjoy being out on the water without the responsibility (and costs!) of owning a boat.

Enter the Cedar Works building at Rocketts Landing and you'll find more than a lobby -- instead, the space has been transformed into the Cedar Works Art Gallery. Unique to the building, the art gallery is curated by Richmond-native Meredith Timberlake, the daughter of two Cedar Works residents.

Call on the horses and wear your best Derby attire, because this weekend's about to unfold into one heck of a party at Rocketts Landing! On Saturday, May 7, after winding down from the morning's Cap2Cap bike ride, we're hosting the Richmond Ballet's Kentucky Derby Day party, "Ballet, Bourbon and Bowties" -- complete with big hats, mint juleps and a perfect riverfront view.
