Rocketts Landing’s Newest Festival: RVA Wake N’ Sun Fest

Great news, friends! We're launching one of Richmond's newest riverfront festivals, RVA Wake N' Sun Fest, this Labor Day holiday at Rocketts Landing. As the location host for this fantastic outdoor event, we're excited to have another opportunity to show Richmonders everything we love about our James River lifestyle. Though details are still forthcoming, here's a sneak peek of what's in store!
- When: RVA Wake N' Sun Fest will take place Sunday, September 1, 2013, during Labor Day Weekend. So, get ready to gather your family and friends for this awesome event.
- What to Expect: In this family-friendly festival, plan to enjoy everything from athletic events to food/beer trucks to over 50 vendors. Event goers will get to watch a variety of waters sports and two half pipes. You'll even be able to test out a water jet pack or jet bike onsite through Ayers Extreme Watersports. And because no festival is complete without live music, a great band lineup is in the works!
- Call for Vendors: As event planners are rounding out the festival details, they’re currently calling for all interested vendors to sign up. If you’re a vendor who wants to learn more, be sure to email RVA Wake N’ Sun Fest organizers today. So far, RVA Beard League, Hybernations Apparel and Astronaut Clothing Co. are among the vendors confirmed to be there!
Sponsored by Corona, Malibu Rum, Red Bull and many more, and in partnership with RVA Magazine, the inaugural RVA Wake N’ Sun Fest will offer a very Richmond way to enjoy the end of summer.
