Rocketts Landing Inspi-RIVER-ation Photo Contest Begins

Friends, we have to admit something: Taking an awesome river photo at Rocketts Landing makes us all sappy. Between the sunsets, the wildlife, the riverfront events and more, we're constantly ooohing and ahhhing at the picturesque moments found throughout our riverfront community.

So, we decided that for exactly this reason -- and in honor of Richmond's 2012 nod as Outdoor Magazine's "Best River Town" -- we're launching our first ever Rocketts Landing Inspi-RIVER-ation Photo Contest!

The goal?

See all the inspiration other Richmonders find in the James River throughout our community and reward the top photographers with some great Rocketts Landing booty.

Your Assignment

Between now and June 3, 2013, we want to see all the James River experiences at Rocketts Landing that you find inspiring. Dazzling sunsets? Breathtaking scenery? River wildlife? Outdoor entertainment? Athletic events? We love it all — and want to see just how much you love it, too!

The Prize

We will select winners in two categories: Judge’s Choice Winner and two People’s Choice Winners. Top prizes include a sunset boat ride catered by M Bistro & Wine Bar (Judge’s Choice Winner) and gift certificates to enjoy at Rocketts Landing restaurants (People’s Choice Winners). And of course, that artsy, feel-good excitement you get from winning!
