Hold on to your rudders, boaters. The new transient slips at Rocketts Landing's marina are now open for business -- and they offer much more than just a place to dock your boat.
Located directly below our community's riverfront restaurants -- The Boathouse and Conch Republic Rocketts -- the 15 new transient slips at Rocketts Landing's marina provide a hassle-free way for boaters who don't live at Rocketts Landing to come ashore after a day on the James River. They also connect hungry boaters to an instant meal prepared by our restaurants through dockside ordering and delivery.

The Boathouse's "Dockside To Go"
For Rocketts Landing transient boaters who want to eat at The Boathouse, their "Dockside To Go" program brings the entire menu to you for instant satisfaction. Boaters can either order ahead of time while out on the water or dock at the marina and call up an order. Then, within about 20 minutes, their dedicated waitstaff will bring your food straight to your boat — or you can dine in-house.
And for those thirsty for libations, you’ll also be able to order a six-pack of beer and selections of wine to enjoy with your meal.
The Mariners Club at Rocketts Landing
If you’re looking for the flavor of Key West, Conch Republic will make sure you “Get Conch’d!” Similar to The Boathouse’s program, Conch Republic is offering their entire menu dockside to fill transient boaters’ hungry bellies. You’ll be able to call in your order ahead of time and have a server bring your meal to you — or you can just dock and eat in-house to enjoy the riverfront view (and their many nights of live music!). Conch Republic will also be offering beer and wine to go. Just remember, boaters: Don’t drink and navigate!
Offering French-inspired Southern cuisine, M Bistro is currently putting together a special boating program of their own. While details are forthcoming, we’re certain they’ll offer a delicious, easy way to wine down dockside. So look for more info to emerge soon!
To rent a transient slip at Rocketts Landing’s marina, be sure to reserve your spot ahead of time (especially during the busy summer weekends) by calling 804.222.3555 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. You can either rent for a few hours for a brief visit or stay overnight — the choice is yours! More impulsive in your travels? No problem. If you pull up to Rockets Landing without a reservation and see an open transient slip, feel free to stop, dock and play!
