(Rocketts Landing residents gather for the Social Committee's annual Oyster Roast and Brunswick Stew event)
This is the 5th year that The
Boathouse at Rocketts Landing has donated oysters to the annual roast — and
once again, they upheld their reputation for delivering the deliciousness.
Partygoers enjoyed oysters that were served raw, roasted or grilled with garlic
and Parmesan. And a tasty homemade
cocktail sauce provided by the Social Committee completed the mix.
For those who also enjoy the cozy warmth of homemade stew, a huge batch of Brunswick Stew made an impressive presence. Generously cooked by Social Committee friend and Oregon Hill resident, Jennifer Harrelson, the stew rounded out an already delectable day.
