Get ready to enjoy more of the Rocketts Landing lifestyle, Richmond. We're currently in the works to break ground on new opportunities for living, working and dining at our community -- and we couldn't be more excited to share with you what's in store here at Rocketts Landing!
Living and Working at Rocketts Landing
Are you interested in living at our community but would rather rent than buy? Or are you a business owner seeking a new office space? Then good news, friends! We're in the beginning stages of construction on Cedar Works II, featuring 180,000 square feet of new space. As our first new construction in three years, these upcoming developments will add 156 apartments, 8,000 square feet of office space, and a 3,000-square-foot leasing and project management office. So, whether you want to live or work (or both??) along the banks of the James River, we're creating new opportunities just for you!
In addition to the new apartment/office building on the horizon, we’re even closer in developments to build Riverbank Terraces. Our new line of upscale townhomes feature riverfront views and classic architecture reminiscent of London’s fashionable West End. With beautifully appointed details (such as stone and marble tiling, two-car garages and terraces that will overlook the river, and more), we’re certain you’ll find the perfect home along the James River.
Rocketts Landing Restaurants
Another development we’re thrilled to announce is the arrival of three or four new restaurants to join our popular dining community! While we can’t give exact specifics on the restaurants that will join Rocketts Landing in the next year or so (we have to keep some secrets!), we can share with you an overview of the dining experiences we hope to offer at our community. We’re proud advocates of the local RVA culinary scene, and each restaurant will be independently owned and will also have its own cuisine focus, so patrons can enjoy a diverse selection of restaurants — while also enjoying patio/outside/riverview dining options!
Also, we’re super excited for one specific restaurant development: turning the old beer caves on our property into a one-of-a-kind Richmond dining experience. In a nutshell, the beer caves are remnants from James River Steam Brewery, which D. G. Yuengling Jr. opened in the 1860s and closed in 1879. We look forward to reawakening this part of Rocketts Landing’s past.
In short, soon we’ll be turning these caves:
Into something like this beer-cave restaurant!
Pretty cool, eh?
We can’t wait to share more details as they emerge — and we appreciate all of you who are helping us transform Rocketts Landing into the place to live, work and dine in Richmond.
