Here we are, friends, preparing for another fantastic fundraiser along the Rocketts Landing riverfront! This Saturday, the annual Comfort Zone Camp Fall Bash will wine, dine and rock Richmonders at a groovin’ party along the banks of the James River. And with perfect fall weather in the forecast, we can't wait for the fun to begin.
Hundreds of people are expected to turn out for the Comfort Zone Camp's Fall Bash, which is in its 12th year -- and first year at Rocketts Landing. If the party's history is any indicator, everyone's in for a great time!
Partygoers will enjoy an all-you-can-eat oyster and barbeque buffet, plus wine and beer vendors. With Richmond's riverfront horizon as the backdrop, a dance party will break loose to the sounds of The Reality Show Band — offering a blend of soulful tunes with influences by The Temptations, James Brown, and Earth Wind & Fire, to name a few!
As a fundraiser, the Fall Bash helps raise the necessary funds for the Comfort Zone Camp to provide an environment where grieving children can have fun and break the isolation that often accompanies loss. They also offer coping-skills development and a network for grieving adults and family members. And because a community of dedicated people make their mission possible, the Comfort Zone Camp’s Fall Bash also celebrates and honors all their hard-working volunteers.
We’re thrilled to play location host for this year’s Comfort Zone Fall Bash and can’t wait to see everyone out on the dance floor at Rocketts Landing under the stars!
