Final Day to Sign Up for the Rocketts Landing Condo Auction

The time has arrived, friends! Today is the last day you can sign up to attend tomorrow's Rocketts Landing condo auction. Since announcing the auction last month, we've had a steady stream of interested homebuyers attend our open houses and visit the 25 condos up for bid. So, if you've not yet visited an open house and signed up, be sure to come out to Rocketts Landing today, and get your name on the list!

Today, May 19

  •  Last Open House & Final Registration — Through 6:30 p.m.

The condos included in our auction are located in our 210 Rock, Fall Line and Sky Line buildings, and we've set minimum prices for each home, with the lowest bid starting at $125,000. You can still come out to visit the homes at our open house today until 6:30 p.m. While here, you can fill-in the auction sign-up form and reserve your seat at tomorrow's event! This step is also important because you'll provide us with your top four home choices. We'll then use this information to create tomorrow's auction experience and help ensure each bidder has the chance to bid on their top choice(s).

Also, Will Ballentine from George Mason Mortgage is on site to help interested buyers discuss their financing options. Any winning bidders who work with Bridge Trust Title Group (the closing agent) and Will Ballentine will receive a $2,000 incentive and a financing contingency.

  • Practice Auction, Tonight at 6:30 p.m.

To help auction participants get a feel of how tomorrow will unfold, we're holding a practice auction tonight at our riverfront restaurant The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing. Here, you'll be able to walk through the auction experience, meet fellow participants and ask any further questions you may have. Please note that in order to participate in the practice auction, you must have registered for the auction, so be sure to sign up.

On Tuesday, May 20, interested buyers will finally be able to bid on their top homes in our auction event! Accelerated Marketing Partners will be leading the auction, and we're excited to have their expertise and enthusiasm guiding us through the process.

  • Time: Check-in at 5:30 p.m. Auction begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately one hour.
