Great news, food lovers! M Bistro & Wine Bar's menu for Richmond Restaurant Week is ready, and they can't wait to open their doors (and culinary delights) for a week of delicious fundraising action.

From April 22 - 28, Richmond Restaurant Week's select restaurants will raise funds to help local nonprofit FeedMore eradicate hunger throughout Central Virginia. Each participating restaurant offers patrons a three-course, prix fixe meal for $25.13 (the cents change annually to reflect the year), and the donations go directly to support FeedMore's Food Bank and Meals on Wheels programs.

This is M Bistro's first year participating in the biannual event, and Owner and Chef Michael Hall has crafted a menu worthy of a fundraising droolfest, or as he puts it, "Cooking for a Cause"!

"We love being able to give back to the community in ways that help others,” explains Michael. “Food is our business, so what better way to support FeedMore than by doing what we do best!"

First Course

  • Lamb Chops Benedict with sunny-side-up eggs on a country ham spoon bread muffin
  • Mussels in Bacon with great Northern beans, garlic, tomatoes and white wine basil cream
  • Tempura Avocado filled with lobster and crab salad drizzled with white truffle oil

Second Course

  • Black Cherry Roasted Duck with broccolini and caramel corn pudding
  • Lime Coconut Tilapia with roasted broccoli florets and salted whipped potatoes
  • Cat Sea Pig sea scallop wrapped in catfish and applewood smoked bacon with rosemary creamy grits and grilled brussel sprouts sauced in a roasted tomato truffle sauce

Third Course

  • Fried Chocolate Cake with black pepper vanilla ice cream and berries
  • Strawberry Romanoff with daiquiri whipped cream
